Jesse Plaster, R.A.
Jesse is a native North Carolinian from Happy Valley, NC, near Blowing Rock. After graduating high school at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, he attended Dartmouth College, in Hanover, New Hampshire. He graduated with honors in biology and French and then made the transition to the Master of Architecture program at the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Jesse completed his Masters degree in 1999 and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to intern at Everton Oglesby Architects, a boutique architecture firm specializing in large-scale civic projects. After a three year internship, he left Nashville to start his own firm in Asheville, North Carolina. In 2005, Jesse had the opportunity to build a home on the farm where he grew up in Happy Valley, and he moved the practice to nearby Lenoir.
